Pastor Kirk BelbenPastor Kirk was called to the ministry and ordained in 1996; he began pastoring in 1998. He is married; he and his wife Christine have three adult children. A Bit of Church HistoryThe Chico Bible Church began as a small group of believers meeting Sunday mornings in the Belben’s living room in 1998. As the fellowship grew, so did the need for a larger facility. In 2000, the church moved to the Chico Grange Hall. In 2010, the church moved to the present location at 175 Chico Canyon Road and became known as the Chico Bible Church. |
From the beginning, the focus has been on equipping the saints for ministry, in order to edify the Church, and evangelize the community for Christ. This includes faithful teaching of the Scriptures and personal discipleship. There is an emphasis on developing and cultivating Christ-centered relationships.
